Kevin’s appointment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for LANES and its participants. In the first few months of 2024 alone, the LANES participant network has already grown by 26%. At LANES, Kevin’s leadership promises to drive technological innovation forward, enhancing our services and ultimately improving patient care across the greater Los Angeles area and southern California. His vision, combined with his track record of success, positions us for continued growth and impact in the ever-evolving landscape of data sharing and healthcare technology. 

Kevin’s qualifications speak volumes about his dedication to advancing healthcare through technology. As a Certified Healthcare CIO with a unique blend of medical, informatics, and management education (MD, MS in Medical Informatics, and MBA), he possesses a holistic understanding of the industry’s complexities. His impressive background includes leadership roles at renowned institutions such as City of Hope, Extrico Health, Howard University Hospital, and LA BioMed at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. 

Throughout his career, Kevin has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the field. Notably, he is a finalist for the CIO of the Year award by Orbie’s Awards and a recipient of Computerworld’s prestigious Best of Business Intelligence award. His innovative spirit extends beyond accolades; Kevin is also an inventor and an author, sharing his insights and discoveries with the broader community.
